Brush Management

UGRA is committed to the long-term conservation of water quantity and quality for both surface water and groundwater.  An important part in the planning for future water use is to maximize and enhance our current water supply.  Water enhancement through brush management is a worthwhile strategy with proven success.

Water Enhancement Through Brush Management

UGRA's Water Enhancement Cost Share Program

UGRA's cost share program provides additional reimbursement to landowners enrolled in USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) or Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB) brush management programs.  Landowners in the Guadalupe River watershed in Kerr County can receive 25% of the amount reimbursed by NRCS or TSSWCB once they have completed brush management activities.
